Pizza chain Papa John's International Inc. said Tuesday sales at restaurants open at least a year _ called same-store sales, an important retail performance gauge _ slipped 0.3 percent in November. Sales at company-owned restaurants rose 0.6 percent and fell 0.6 percent at franchise restaurants for the four weeks ended Nov. 19. Domestic systemwide same-store sales fell 1 percent quarter-to-date, and rose 3.4 percent for the year-to-date period. Papa John's shares fell $1.21, or 4 percent, to $29 in after-hours trading.
