Mathnasium LLC announced today Mitch Brown would be joining the company as Chief Operating Officer; his first task being to spearhead the company's recently announced franchising efforts. An MBA graduate (major focus Entrepreneurial Management) of Wharton, one of America's leading business schools, Brown was a consultant at Wharton's Small Business Development Center. He served as Director of Business Development at Ofoto (now a subsidiary of Kodak) and Manager of Business Affairs at America Online, after it acquired When.com, where Brown served as Business Development Manager. Peter Markovitz, President of Mathnasium, welcomed Brown and described him as "impressively humble, especially considering that he is one of the most gifted executives I have ever met".
