Kiddie Academy centers across the country will participate in “Coins for Kids,” an internal program devoted solely to the collection of funds to purchase UNICEF developed “School-in-a-Box” kits. The kits will be used to bring educational supplies back into the lives of these children while the area begins to rebuild. Teachers within the Kiddie Academy system will integrate activites related to the recent disaster in an effort to help children understand what their donations will mean to the children in South Asia. Individuals wishing to donate coins as a part of this effort should contact their local Kiddie Academy center.
