Homevestors Features Testimonials In New Tv Spots

HomeVestors of America, Inc., the company famous for its "We Buy Ugly Houses" billboards, is featuring happy customers and beautiful endings in its new television commercials designed around customer testimonials. Released to the franchise network this month for use in markets in 30 states, the spots are designed to tell real stories to audiences across the nation. “We’ve become known for buying ugly real estate, but really we’re a company that helps people who don’t want the hassles of trying to sell a home through traditional channels,” said Dr. John Hayes, president and CEO for HomeVestors. “And nobody explains that better than our customers.” The new 30-second and 60-second commercials were created by Houston-based agency Rives Carlsberg and feature testimonials from real customers who sold their homes to HomeVestors. Bonnie Frame, of Dallas, was faced with trying to help her aging mother transition to an assisted living environment. Meanwhile, she had to decide what to do with her mother’s home, which needed remodeling and repairs before it could be put on the market. Rather than inherit the remodeling headaches, Frame called HomeVestors and sold the property as-is so that she could focus all of her attention on her mother and help her adjust to her new surroundings. Gary and Betty Lechner, of Houston, were faced with a common dilemma when they found their dream home. They had to sell their current home. It was an older property that could use some updates, but it wasn’t ugly. Still, the Lechners just wanted to sell fast without a lot of open houses and strangers touring their place. So they called HomeVestors, sold their home and moved without any problems.
