Golf Usa Debuts New Line Of Proprietary Clubs

Oklahoma City, Ok - 21 November, 2001 -

This week, just in time for Thanksgiving, pre-Christmas shopping, Golf USA debuted its new line of proprietary clubs, the Tour Eagle2 and MXD2 golf clubs, in its stores worldwide. The Tour Eagle2 and MXD2 are priced as complete sets, 3 woods and 8 irons, designed (for men and women) so that Golf USA can offer high quality, high performance, durable clubs to avid golfers at extremely competitive price points. The Tour Eagle2 is designed for the beginning golfer, and a complete set will retail for $149. The MXD2 is a top-of-the-line set designed for the intermediate to advanced golfer; a complete set will retail for $254, every day. The new clubs were introduced to the franchisees in October at the 2001 International Golf USA Convention. “We had sample sets out at the convention for the franchisees to try,” said Mike Henderson, CEO of Golf USA. “The response was completely overwhelming.” Henderson said that franchisees placed orders, beyond the company’s expectations, in anticipation of public demand. The new clubs will be introduced throughout the holiday season through co-op television and newspaper advertisements. About Golf USA.
