First Restoration Services Names Employee Of The Year

Lozano has been employed at First Restoration Services for two years as a Restoration Technician and has worked in the restoration industry for three years. He is trained in many areas of restoration including water, mold, duct cleaning and smoke and was voted employee of the quarter for the 2nd quarter of 2005. In order to be eligible for employee of the year, one has to have been employee of the quarter, which is voted on by management. Characteristics taken into account include attendance record, appearance, attitude, work performance, willingness to work overtime as needed and attitude toward being on call. Employee of the year is voted on by coworkers. "Jamie is an outstanding employee because he is very versatile and willing to tackle anything," stated Chris Silliman, president of First Restoration Services. "The fact that he was voted unanimously by his fellow coworkers shows his high level of dedication which is obviously appreciated by those he works with. He deserves this great honor of employee of the year." The reasons why coworkers voted for Lozano as employee of the year are many. He works whenever he is needed, which is often times above and beyond his normal shift. He supervises mold projects and is excellent at producing well-organized and timely paperwork, which is required on most jobs. When he doesn't have a full understanding of a topic, he shows initiative to learn more. Overall, Lozano has proven to have a great attitude and is an exceptional employee.
